Activities, traditional and sporting events - Summer and winter in Arabba

Numerous events and celebrations of the Ladin tradition take place during the summer and the winter season in the valley of Livinallongo del Col di Lana

All year round Arabba and the Fodoma valley organize exciting events for athletes - and of course for the spectators.
The competitions for expert skiers as the Sella Ronda Ski Marathon or the Lors da Reba are amongst the most famous down-hill night time races of the zone.
For those who don’t love down-hill competitions, the tracks of the Dolomiti Superski offer the ideal scenery for torch-light races, snow-shoe walks and incredible snow shows animated with dangerous acrobatics performed by expert freestylers.
The sporting events continue even during the summer period. The "Sella Ronda Bike Day" and the "Marathon of the Dolomites" attract annually large groups of cyclists on the roads of the valley, ready to climb the most beautiful passes of the Dolomites.
During the “Cronoscalata Arabba-Passo Pordoi” or the “Gran Fondo Dolomite Stars” all cyclists get the possibility to attempt the streets and paths taken by the protagonists of the famous Giro d’Italia.
